Training Session Tasks and Appointments

When a training session is scheduled for a salesperson, they receive a task notification with the details of the training call — including the scenario name, scheduled time, and the call tracking number to dial. An appointment can also be added to the salesperson’s personal calendar with the dial-in instructions.

Simply Call the Virtual Prospect

The salesperson dials the supplied phone number at the allocated time. The AI prospect answers and begins the conversation according to the training scenario’s persona and backstory. The salesperson conducts the call as they would with a real prospect. Calls can be re-practiced multiple times during the scheduled training time.

A prospect record can be created in the CRM at the stage configured in the scenario. The salesperson can initiate the training call directly from the CRM’s click-to-call feature, just as they would with a real prospect call!

Real-Time Feedback

After the call, the training session on the schedule is updated with:

  • Call status: whether the call was completed
  • Performance score: an overall score based on the evaluation criteria
  • Feedback: detailed feedback per objective

The AI Sales Trainer comes included in the Community Engage subscription. Those with a Community Marketer subscription can purchase a Community Engage add-on.

One or more ActiveDEMAND Call Tracking Number is required training. AI Sales Trainer calls use a pool of call tracking numbers that have been reserved for training tasks. When a training is scheduled, a number from the pool is allocated to that specific training task; multiple trainings can run concurrently using different numbers from the pool.

For a salesperson to be schedulable for training calls they must have a phone number on their contact record. The phone number is what the system uses to recognise the salesperson when they dial in to the training tracking number.
