What is a Workflow?

A workflow is a repetitive pattern of procedures necessary to accomplish a goal. It is the systematic process, tasks, events, etc. necessary to add value to the targeted activity(ies). Each step in a workflow may depend upon the previous step (sequential), or several steps in the workflow may occur simultaneously (parallel). Inbound marketers’ workflow must also be adaptable to shifts in client markets and audiences to continually maintain successful “lead nurturing campaigns.” Marketing workflows must be able to be customizable to fit social marketing, email marketing, content marketing, online marketing, and PPC campaigns.
