SpamCop

What is SpamCop?

SpamCop is a service, available for a fee, for reporting spam. The service creates spam traps and monitors who collects the address and spams it. SpamCop also determines origins of unwanted email and reports it to the relevant Internet service providers. Reported spam / unsolicited email feed spam filtering systems. Email lists that are not routinely “cleaned” or are outdated rented or purchased lists may be subject to spam traps. Too many spam complaints results in being blacklisted (on the SpamCop 24-hour listing). Domain bounces during a SpamCop listing can significantly limit marketing campaign ROI.
