Responsive Design

What is Responsive Design?

Responsive web design (RWD) refers to constructing a website that is applicable and functional on all devices (desktop, tablet, smartphone, etc.). RWD components include flexible media and layouts and media queries. Flexible layouts include a flexible grid that resizes to fit any width. Flexible grids use relative length to determine margin, width, or padding. Responsive web design focuses on ensuring applications react quickly and effectively to any change, device, or purpose, such as different browser, device viewport widths, layouts, and content. A responsively designed site is easy to navigate and read regardless what technology is being used.
