What is Persona?

Persona is essentially the profile of the target consumer, including where they shop, their family size, annual income, priorities and what they deem important, etc. The inbound marketer considers who is the ideal prospect, their behavior, demographic, etc., to better define the target audience and create a successful marketing plan. Establishing well-defined personas is good for the business as well as for customers, and gains higher quality leads, more consistency across the business, robust closed-loop analytics, and better product development.
