Mobile marketing capitalizes on, and optimizes, advertising on mobile devices. Time sensitive and localized goods, services, and concepts may be presented to visitors via their phones. Apps require smartphones. Not every potential customer has a smartphone. Alternatively, marketing campaigns may be as effective using SMS (text messaging) marketing, which is a direct mobile connection method. SMS is not limited to the type of phone the consumer has. Inbound marketers select the option that provides the most availability and can be communicated to the majority in the desired target market.
