CTR (Click-Through Rate)
What is CTR (Click-Through Rate)?
The Click-Through Rate (CTR) measures how successful a web advertisement is according to the interest it generates. The click-through-rate is calculated as the percentage of web page visitors that click on the specific page advertisement. The CTR equals the number of unique clicks divided by the number of ads that were opened. The typical average click-through rate of an advertisement is approximately 2 to 3 users per 1,000. A CTR does not accurately indicate the number of sales generated from the ad.
