What is a CRM?

A CRM is a computerized system which identifies, targets, acquires, and manages current and prospective customer and sales interactions. The CRM system essentially profiles prospects, recognizes their wants and needs, and provides the most relevant products and enhanced services in an effort to establish exceptional and valuable customer relations / relationships. CRM creates a customer and purchases database through an integrated front and back office system. Goals are achieved through customer identification and satisfaction.
