What is Conversion Rate?
The conversion rate is the percentage
of those who took action (purchased, signed up for marketing emails or newsletters, etc.) out of the total number presented with a content offer or option. Overall, the conversion rate measures the degree of success a marketing campaign is having. It is an indicator of the percentage of content offer recipients that respond to the promotion / marketing campaign call-to-action. The rate does not take into account the time visitors spend on the business’ website, number of pages viewed during a single visit, or degree of user engagement.
