What are Automation Rules?
Automation rules have unique functionality that allow certain marketing and sales actions be performed based on specified criteria within the automation system (i.e.: sorting leads based on specific characteristics). They check for every possibility in the account each time their record updates to determine a match. Real time rules (only available in older accounts) check for prospect matches between when a form is submitted and when the form’s actions executed. Real-time rules tend to result in slower load times for forms and landing pages. Automation rules only impact a possibility once although they are retroactive until the criteria is edited.
