What is Analytics?

Marketing analytics collects data from all marketing channels and consolidates it into a marketing analysis that provides information needed to make decisions that more effectively drive the desired consumer to the website. Analytics consist of processes and technologies used to measure comparative performances of marketing tools, for example, the effectiveness of blogging as opposed to channel communications or social media. The return on investment (ROI), marketing effectiveness in general, and marketing attribution indicate how successful the marketing program is working overall.
