Acceptance Rate

What is Acceptance Rate?

The email acceptance rate is the percentage of email messages successfully delivered; that is, those which are received and accepted by the mail server. “Accepted” emails are those that do not generate a “bounce” reply, including those delivered to the inbox, spam, or junk folders. The rate may be determined by the number of accepted email messages divided by the number of (unique) emails sent. Successful deliveries are the total number of attempted emails minus hard bounces and other failures. The acceptance rate does not account for emails accepted by the server that are delivered to alternative folders and not to the inbox.
